Limited Palette

As a little experiment, this week I have started a series of abstract oil paintings using a limited palette of just white, payne's grey, quinacridone magenta and cadmium yellow. These colours were inspired by a small two year old friend of mine when we were doing some very serious crayon drawings! I'm still undecided if these are going to work and ironically the first one that began as my favourite is now my least favourite but that usually happens with me. These are all works in progress...
